Ask us a question What if I need to change plans during development?
This happens all the time, and it's perfectly natural to need to pivot. No scope can be assumed 100% fixed, which is why we have a change control process. For clients facing frequent scope changes, we have agile retainers which combine flexibility with predictable deployment and billing cadences (scalable to demand).
Who owns the software and intellectual property rights at the end of a SaaS project?
Ownership and intellectual property rights to the final source code go to you, the client. Since this is your commercial asset, and we profit from the build, it's completely against our morals to retain ownership.
We already have developers. Why bring in Novatura?
Novatura specialises in developing digital products. We have strategic and design experience that we bring to the table. Building is the easy part. Knowing what to build first? That's the hard part. If you've already got the execution layer, we're more than happy to take responsibility for design and strategy.
How do we know we won't be locked in to using you?
We understand that sometimes we have to go our separate ways. That's okay. We make sure the systems we create are built to last and kept in a maintainable state. When we hand over to a new supplier or an in-house team, we facilitate a smooth handover and provide migration support - as long as we're not re-hosting the system on their behalf, this is usually done free of charge!
What can I integrate my product with?
SaaS products can be integrated with pretty much any service that offers an API. We could even do spreadsheet/PDF imports or exports if they don't. This includes payment gateways like Stripe, email services like Postmark, accounting platforms like Xero and FreeAgent, or messaging apps like WhatsApp. The list goes on!
